Clients need to know how their investments are faring on a regular basis, as they will have entrusted considerable amounts of their money to build an effective investment portfolio. Therefore, they need to be kept up to date with regard to the performance of those assets. In the early stages of our relationship, clients are pleasantly surprised to find that we are constantly monitoring their portfolios. We consider maintaining regular contact with our clients to be an essential part of the services we provide; even more so than our original consultations.
You can be assured that Trade Inc.'s advisers and the supporting administrative team keep constant vigil in regularly evaluating your portfolio. Their responsibility is to measure performance and compare a stock's performance against industry benchmarks. If there are any changes to a client's circumstances, we will consider rebalancing their portfolio.
Clients are sent our newsletter every quarter and we also deliver performance reports—in jargon-free language that tells them how their investments are performing. We also provide a summary clarifying the current investment climate and deliver an appraisal of market trends. We sometimes deliver special analyses on global economic issues that we feel may be of interest. Also, once a year we invite clients to a meeting to discuss and review any planning issues, changes in circumstances and the allocations and performance of their portfolios.
